豬仔餅

“jyu zai peng” or piglet biscuits r my favourite part of the mid autumn festival. i think i may even love ’em more than mooncakes!

sold together with mooncakes, these chewy snacks are made from the same dough skin as their more popular counterparts.

chewy piglet biscuits are made using a combination of thick sugar syrup, lye water, flour, and oil, which give this crust its rich taste and a chewy yet tender texture. yummm.

– juicy
